A Christmas Invitation

Since I live in the quaint little village of Leipers Fork,
I've decided to share my images
of Christmas in rural Tennessee.
No snow for a sleigh yet, but you're invited

At "Parade Rest"

Memorial Day 2009

Every military person knows the commander's order
of "Parade Rest," a time to stand at ease.
On this national holiday, parades will march across America in honor
of those who have given us their ultimate sacrifice.

Thanks to the Webeloes (a younger division of the Boy Scouts) from Davidson
and Williamson County who placed U.S. flags on the graves of 35,000
of America's finest at the National Military Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
