Alien?
When I first saw these flowers at a local store, I did a double-take. They definitely rank among the most odd I have ever seen, so much so that as of today, one now lives on my front porch.
These flowers bring back such fond memories. When my sister and I were little girls staying at grammas house, she had these flowers growing everywhere in her gardens. Not having much money for toys, we had to find things to play with. We would pluck one of these flowers and pull all the little stems underneath to leave two legs and feet. They then became 'dancing fairies' for our enjoyment. I loved all your pictures on your blog, and where ever you are, I want to be there. Peace

You should come over and take photos of our mandala garden while things are in bloom.
